Our family spent 18 summers in Meredith N.H. and we are fans of the Common Man chain. We have been to the farmhouse on many occasions. On Sunday November 5th we returned to the farmhouse with friends to celebrate our 37 wedding anniversary after a hiatus of about 8 years. Well it was not good.

Both my wife and our good friend had the Chicken Piccata. The chicken was rubbery and bland and the pasta over cooked. In fact is was so bad that neither of them finished the meal, in fact it is better to say they really never even started. Two bites and done. I had the vegetable lasagna with eggplant. The eggplant was overcooked and the noodles were soggy.
This is one of the Common Man restaurants, but highly unique. It offers the flavor and feel of a local Italian trattoria. Their wood-fired pizza is worth trying!
I was so disappointed that I shall never return.
Great food, rustic cozy eating area with open flamed candle light dinner. Free bread and butter that is way better than Olive garden. Just... Go.
